Added April 2007 --We regret that we are now unable to provide special occasions hire. The only exception to this is we can provide cars for wedding and funeral hire and also promotional and TV / film hire.

I'm very sorry that we are unable to provide vehicles for prom hire, we still receive a large amount of enquiries but will not be able to offer this service.

PLEASE READ: The licensing laws regarding limousines and special occasions hire vehicles has changed. Unfortunately because of this change in the law we will not be offering any special occasions hire for our vehicles. Any bookings already received and confirmed will be honoured. A special contract will be required for our hire of vehicles on a seven day contract which I am happy to explain to you if you have booked a vehicle. Our company will not be putting our vehicles through the licensing procedure because they are sadly considered to old for the local council to license, this is the same license as a taxi / limousine has to have to operate.

The law is changing to regulate limousine hire for the better and to protect you from travelling in vehicles not fit for the purpose and to ensure that your driver is legitimate, many current limousine companies will not be trading legally after this year (07) if they do not licence their vehicles.

Our company abides by the law and will not make any acception to this rule. Unfortunately this law will make it very difficult for you to get a vehicle in future especially Prom season as the licensed companies will be in huge demand and expensive.

Beetle Drive UK Criminal Record check our employees and check their licences and back grounds for your protection. Our vehicles are highly maintained to ensure our customers safety.

If you think about it, you are entrusting people (often your children) to a driver and if he/she is not legitimate for whatever reason it's a frightening thought. This will also ensure vehicles are safe to travel in.

The licensing system is effectively like any taxi has to go through, as we do not use our cars as taxi's we will not be allowed to carry passengers for any other occasion except for wedding hire and funerals. We can continue to do TV/ Media and advertising work.

This trip and dinner at a The Mount Pleasant in Coventry was won in a Charity Auction by Sean (right) and his friends. The auction was in aid of the Jordan Accardi fund (See our charity page) Sean chose to take his trip on his birthday.

Sally's final Beetle Drive UK trip to Bosworth Hall, she is now working with her new owners in Ludlow.

School Proms - Our cars are always the most unusual to turn up, these are the cars the cameras turn to!

Both of our limousines out at a surprise 30th birthday banquet at Coombe Abbey, Coventry.

Kids prom, we took 25 local children for a trip in our Lincoln limo! (not all at once!) they had a fantastic time! This was arranged by wedding planner "Leave it to Lisa"

Jill (left back row) hired our Lincoln for the evening to take her work colleagues on a pub crawl for their Christmas Party Night.

If you are further than 30 miles from our base (CV9 2PH) please accept our apologies. Proms on Friday /Saturday evenings can not always be catered for as our cars are booked for weddings.
